Final call for the storm

Posted by Renato on January 26, 2011 at 8:50 AM

Well for you snow lovers out there, the front batch of precipitation that was projected to miss us has indeed hit us this morning and will continue to do so throughout the morning at least. There is also another blob of precipitation behind this so I don't expect the snow to end anytime soon. I'll try to do as many updates on my facebook regarding this but for now, here is my final call for the storm:

Light Green= 2-4" of snow with some rain towards the beginning

Light Blue= Mostly all snow, banding will setup higher than these areas though. 4-8"possible

Dark Blue= All snow 5-10" of accumulation. Less as you head North and west, more as you head south and east.

Purple= Best chance to see the heavier banding, 6-12"+ of accumulation possible.

Timeline

Now=Storm starts

6PM-6AM= Heaviest of snows around then

6-7AM=Storm Ends
